Yes. Under the UGC Curriculum and Credit Framework followed by LNMU and BRABU, every student of the 4-year UG programme must complete an internship of 4 credits. It is done individually; group internship is not allowed.
120 hours in total (30 hours per credit). At least 90 hours are work at the internship providing organisation (IPO), and the remaining 30 hours go to report writing, evaluation and viva.
As per the LNMU guideline, during the summer break between Semester IV and Semester V. Marks are added in Semester V.
An evaluation committee gives 70 marks for the internship report and 30 marks for the presentation/viva-voce. You must score at least 45% in each part to pass.
The Consent Letter from your college (Annexure I), the Acceptance Letter from the IPO (Annexure II), the Completion Certificate from the IPO within 10 days of finishing (Annexure III), and the report with a cover page (Annexure V) within 20 days.
